KRISTEN STEWART ATTENDS FORUM FILM FESTIVAL'S 'CAMP X-RAY' Q & A AT NYU: PHOTOS & REVIEW OF THE NIGHT

Kristen Stewart attended the Forum Film Festival Q & A after the 'Camp X-Ray' screening held at the NYU Law School's Tishman Theater Tuesday night. 


Stewart was joined by director and writer Peter Sattler as they answered questions posed by the host and audience. Fans enjoyed a very insightful input from Stewart and Sattler. 


I am a wee bit tired from the prior night's escapades, but check out my somewhat spoilerish but not too much review of the night below.

KRISTEN STEWART SHINES AT 'CAMP X-RAY' NEW YORK PREMIERE







Kristen Stewart walked the red carpet for the premiere of 'Camp X-Ray' at the Crosby St. Hotel in New York City. Stewart was joined by director Peter Sattler and her co-star Peyman Moaadi. 


CXR is currently playing at the Forum Film Festival at NYU.  


CXR opens October 17th.

SECOND TRAILER RELEASED FOR 'CAMP X-RAY' WITH KRISTEN STEWART







The premiere of 'Camp X-Ray' in New York tonight and with the promotion about to begin, here is the second trailer released today by IFC Films. 

Kristen Stewart stars a conflicted young guard overseeing detainees at Guitanamo Bay. The film will be released October 17th in theaters and will be available VOD the same day.

SONY PICTURES CLASSICS PLANS ALL-OUT OSCAR CAMPAIGN FOR KRISTEN STEWART - GUILD SCREENINGS BEGIN

Sony Pictures Classics (SPC) will be going full speed ahead with promoting Kristen Stewart for a Best Actress Oscar nomination for her role in Still Alice, according to the Hollywood Reporter

SPC obtained the rights to distribute the film at this years Toronto Film Festival.  The initial word was that Stewart's co-star Julianne Moore would definitely be in the Oscar race for her role as a professor who is in the early stages of the Alzheimer's Disease. However, Stewart being added on for the push is good to hear considering she has been receiving rave reviews as the supportive daughter.

KRISTEN STEWART TO APPEAR ON 'THE TONIGHT SHOW' WITH JIMMY FALLON







Kristen Stewart is set to begin a whirlwind of promotion of three movies (Camp X-Ray, Clouds of Sils Maria, Still Alice) being released with her first stop on The Tonight Show starring Jimmy Fallon on October 7th. 

First up, Stewart will be in New York next week for the screening of 'Camp X-Ray' along with director Peter Sattler.

Last time Stewart was with Fallon they played a drinking game. Fans cannot wait to see what he will have her do this time.

KRISTEN STEWART TO ATTEND THE 9th ANNUAL FORM FILM FESTIVAL'S SCREENING AND Q & A OF 'CAMP X-RAY'

Kristen Stewart and director  Peter Sattler  will attend the screening of their film 'Camp X-Ray' at the 9th Annual Forum Festival at NYU in New York City next Tuesday, October 7.

The screening will be held at the Tishman Auditorium located in Vanderbilt Hall at 7PM. 

Viewers will have the opportunity to discuss the film with Stewart and Sattler after the screening. 

'Camp X-Ray' will hit theaters October 17th.

KRISTEN STEWART TEAMS UP ON A "STAR-STUDDED' PANEL TO MENTOR 'TWILIGHT SHORT FILM' COMPETITION







When Lionsgate released 'Twilight Forever' it appears they meant what they said. 

Kristen Stewart joins 'Twilight' author Stephenie Meyer and director Catherine Hardwicke on a "star-studded" female panel for a short film contest "based on the characters from the world of Twilight," according to the Lionsgate press release.

Lionsgate, Meyer, Facebook and the Women in Film organization will sponsor the competition for aspiring female filmmakers. 

Stewart, Meyer and Hardwicke will mentor contestants along with "Academy Award winners Kate Winslet and Octavia Spencer, Jennifer Lee, the award-winning writer and one of the directors of Disney’s global blockbuster Frozen, Emmy Award-winning actress Julie Bowen, and Women In Film President Cathy Schulman."

Five of the shorts will be voted on by fans and the winner will receive a cash prize. 

The competition is to assist Lionsgate to locate diverse talent.

The campaign, called “The Storytellers – New Creative Voices of The Twilight Saga,” will include films based on a broad spectrum of characters from the Twilight universe, with guidance provided by Meyer’s encyclopedic The Twilight Saga: Official Illustrated Guide.

The campaign will center on a multiphase contest culminating in the selection of at least five aspiring female filmmakers to direct short films based on characters from the Twilight universe. Five winning shorts will be financed through production advances, and fans will help select a grand prize winning filmmaker who will receive a cash prize and career opportunities. The short film development and production process will involve extensive fan engagement on the Facebook and Tongal platforms.
